You’ve hopefully saved the date(s), July 18-20, 2025. Now, we hope you will reserve your place at our 60th reunion.
Here’s what’s been planned for so far. More details will be forthcoming as we get closer to the actual event.
Friday, July 18, 2025: Arrivals of classmates and welcoming meet and greet e.g. beverages, hors d’oevres etc. Time and place TDB.
Saturday, July 19. 2025 from 11:30 AM to 4:00 PM-ish… BBQ at Mike Backer’s home in Southborough.
Suggested Optional Activities During the Weekend:
- Sunday, July 20, 2025, WooSox game starts at 1:00 PM at Polar Park in Worcester. Our plan is to get a block of tickets, as requested by all of you in advance. Let us know ASAP if you’d like to attend and number of Tickets you’ll need. We will let you know the cost once we know the total number of tickets to be ordered.
- Worcester Art Museum (Many Higgins Armory Museum artifacts moved here)
- Tour the Hanover Theatre (formerly the Lowes Poli Theatre).
- Attend a New England Revolution vs Orlando soccer match at Gillette Stadium Saturday evening.
- Group or self-unguided tour of the Worcester we used to know and how it has changed e.g. Classical, Foley field, Tatnuck, Vernon Hill, Grafton Hill, Water Street, Newton Square, Greenhill Park, Elm Park, Bancroft Tower (thanks Susie for the reminder… LOL)… etc.
- Worcester Historical Museum (Closed Sunday and Monday)
- Meet old friends for Sunday Breakfast somewhere in Worcester or near Southborough e.g. Miss Worcester Diner (open Sundays 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM).
